If we're going to be working together, I thought you might like to know a little bit more about me. So here we go!
My name's Sophie and for the last five years I've lived down on Crosby beach with my husband and our two children. You can find me out on the dunes most days taking snaps of the sea or catching the sunset with my little tribe. There aren't many things I love more than the sand beneath my feet or a wild swim.
I run my little business with my husband Ste Forshaw- a singer/song writer and weddings and events musician (he's great, hire him too!) giving us so many wonderful opportunities to work together creating incredible events.
We've taken on jobs from the tip of Cornwall all the way up to the isle of Skye and into further Europe too. I love to travel and am always game for an adventure, so it's been a real privilege to capture weddings in so many incredible places. When I'm not photographing weddings or helping organise the musical side of things, I can be found documenting charity projects across the North west in SEND schools, dementia care homes and hospital settings. It's a real joy.
I would describe my photography style as 'relaxed documentary', I try to capture the essence of each event through candid moments and real human interactions. My greatest strength is my ability to watch the room for those little magic moments and snap them as they happen. At the heart of this is one important factor- relaxed and happy clients. By taking the time to get to know you and build up a rapport ahead of the day, I can get you at your very best. It's so important you and you guests feel comfortable around your photographer, and I always work hard to make sure that happens.
So there we have it, you've learnt a little about me, and I can wait to et to know you!
